The LCDA-1 is designed to convert the 16 way linear connection presentation of intelligent LCD modules to an 8x2 format for direct connection into standard ribbon cable assemblies.

Wiring Order
The LCDA-1 provides a direct sequential pin to pin translation between a linear 16 way LCD connector and an 8x2 header. Note that some formats of LCD have pins 15 and 16 positioned alongside pin1. Whilst the LCDA-1 can be used with these displays, the user wiring on the host module must take account of this connectivity.
