The Minicounter is a highly flexible and cost effective solution for frequency measurement and display. From LF to VHF the Minicounter is equally suited as a "digital dial" for radio transceivers or as a stand alone piece of test equipment. Now featuring SIX fully programmable IF Offsets and Multiplier Functions in addition to direct measurement, all selectable on the fly. The Minicounter supports applications in single conversion, direct conversion or multi-conversion transceivers.

It's Versatile! Need an unusual offset frequency? Setting up user parameters such as IF offset frequencies couldn't be easier. Using the Cumbria Designs' three button navigation system (Up/Down/Select) the set Up menu allows you to quickly and easily customise the Minicounter for your application - time and time again! With an offset range of 10Hz to almost 1GHz, we believe that the Minicounter will cater for most applications. All user programmable variables are held in EEPROM and are recalled when the Minicounter is switched on. Once configured, no further action is required - until you decide to make a new change. Under Control Adding and subtracting offsets is not a problem, the Minicounter will do this during normal operation without the need to preset conditions in a set up menu. Simply grounding the diode protected control pins applies the selected function, whether that is a stored offset, operating function or offset sum difference, all can be changed "on the fly".
