FD-01 Support Page
Software Version P1a First Production Release
Bugs and Fixes
1. Sporadic Frequency Errors
A bug in the prescaler counting routine caused a shift of 2.56kHz at precise spot frequencies causing the prescaler count to be zero after a higher order byte overflow. This was not normally noticeable unless the FD-01 was driven from a highly stable signal source that could be brought to within and held at a Hz or so of the spot frequencies. This has been corrected in P1b. Users with P1a software qualify for a free updgrade, contact support@cumbriadesigns.co.uk for details.
2. Rx to Tx Frequency Display Hang Time (Hysteresis)
An improvement has been made to the performance of the frequency display under fast keying in full break in applications. In user set up five Hang Delay times ranging from 100mSec to 500mSec are now selectable. This feature supports improved compatibility with users equipment and allows adjustment of hang time to suit different keying speeds. This change is incorporated in software version P1b.
